Just so you are all aware, there were 3 break-ins (on the 5th, 7th and 10th floors) and 1 break-in attempt (on the 9th floor) yesterday at 165 Barrington. The break-ins occurred during the business day when the tenants were at work. This is very shocking considering since we have a security guard on-patrol as well as security cameras. What happened to ensuring safety and security? Was the security guard asleep? Did he perform his rounds?
Apparently, the criminal(s) stole items to make quick sales. Items stolen included personal items such as jewelry, heirlooms, laptop computers, digital cameras, cellular phones, etc.
I find it hard to believe that no one noticed anything out-of-the ordinary on the affected floors. I am hoping that this post will accomplish the following 2 things:
1 - get the tenants to come forward and bring up any suspicious behaviour and/or observations from yesterday.
2 - get the management of 165 Barrington to take safety and security issues a lot more seriously!!!

Let’s work together to make these things happen!
